Description of the Services Provided by SGS: The government is committed to implement an inspection system to imports destined to the country. The purpose is to:

       a)  Recover customs’ duties and taxes at the
             points of entry into Mauritania.
       b)  Carry out pre-shipment inspection of imported
             goods;
       c)  Train local staff on the methodology employed
             in Pre-shipment.
