Description of Actual Services Provided by the SGS Staff
In its capacity as the sub contractor of the Surveyor named in the Decree for the verification or technical survey of Precursor imports, SGS verifies, surveys and provides: a. true and accurate data on the identity (name and domicile) of the exporter and importer; b. the accuracy of the serial numbers and issue date of the Recognition as Producer-Importer [IP] or Appointment as Registered Importer [IT], and the serial number and issue date of precursor import permit; c. the accuracy of the category of goods, Tariff Category/HS and the Chemical Abstract Services [CAS] of the precursors imported; d. the accuracy of the chemical composition of the precursors; e. the accuracy of the quantity or volume of the precursors; f. the accuracy as to the producing country or country of origin of the precursors; and g. the accuracy as to the number of packages of the precursors. To attach label or seal onto the precursors packages to prove that such labeled packages have been duly verified. |
