Product Conformity Assessment (PCA)

PCA is a solution designed to assist Governments facing problems with the importation of substandard products that may put consumers' health and safety at risk. SGS is active in the field of Product Conformity Assessment since 1993 where it started its first mandate on behalf of the government authorities in the Russian Federation (GOST-R). Since then, SGS has obtained various accreditations for the verification of confomity of products prior to shipment.

Its Global Network of offices and laboratories around the world positions SGS as the leader for the provision of PCA verification activities across the globe and for all type of goods.

SGS operates PCA services and assists manufacturers and suppliers achieving complinace of their exportation to various countries such as Algeria, Botswana, Iran, Kenya, Nigeria, Russia and others.
